Project Overview
Using Photoshop, and found royalty-free imagery, we were tasked to create a printed zine. The topic could be anything, so the assignment was more focused on physical print design skills, alongside Photoshop proficiency.
Design Considerations
I enjoy retro-futuristic aesthetics, so I took the opportunity to test my ability to integrate images from varying sources, from grainy ephemera to Hubble telescope images.
Consistency in the form of color harmonies, recurring elements, and even lighting allow the disparate sources to feel like one whole.
